Regan Eldridge is a teacher at heart. She was raised in Alexandria,Virginia and after high school, went to Howard University and received a degree in business administration. Although she had her degree, she wasn’t sure which career move she would make. Her last semester in college she took a class called Black Education in America. After that she knew. She had to be a teacher.

She began teaching in Washington, DC in 2009 and is still in the classroom, although virtual since 2020. She began learning about plant medicine casually when experimenting with essential oils. She made fragrances for herself, shea butter balms, and hair care. After experiencing the beauty of essential oils, she decided to dive deeper into plant medicine. She began with a class at Mid Atlantic School of Herbalism (MASH) in College Park, Maryland.

In 2020 Regan began her apprenticeship with herbalist Karen Rose where she met Shalita. In 2021 she and a former classmate from MASH began the Black Herbalists of Maryland group, a place for healers of color in the state. In 2021 she was given the awesome responsibility of running the Sacred Vibes Black Herbalist Green Book which is the first directory of black healers in the world (one person from the UK).
